How to use it
- Set your target hours per day (for example 8:00 or 7:30).
- Fill in start, end and break minutes for each day.
- Read the total, the overtime balance and, if you like, the amount to bill. Copy the summary or download the CSV.
What people use it for
- Overtime tracking. See how much overtime you built up this week, or how many hours you still owe.
- Freelancers and hourly jobs. Add up the hours for a client and multiply by your hourly rate for the invoice.
- Night shifts. If you finish after midnight (22:00 → 06:00), the calculator rolls over to the next day automatically.
- Timesheets. Download the CSV and open it in Excel or Google Sheets to keep it or send it to HR.
FAQ
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The maths happens in your browser. Your times are saved only on this device, so you can continue the week later.
What is the balance?
The difference between hours worked and target hours. Positive means overtime, negative means hours you still owe.
How do night shifts work?
If the end time is earlier than the start time, the calculator assumes you finished the next day.
What does “in decimal” mean?
The total as a decimal number, e.g. 7:30 = 7.5 h — the format you multiply by an hourly rate.
